Event: Spring Scramble

Date: Sunday, May 16th

Time: 8 AM Shotgun

Entry: $5 per player : Additional entry may be required for Food & Beverage following golf.

Format: 4-player Scramble

All four players tee off, select the best positioned ball and everyone plays from that position. Each player is required to use two tee shots during the course of the round.

Eligibility: Open to members and guests of members.

Event: 2-Man Team Match Play

Date: Matches may begin on Saturday, June 6th

Time: Must be scheduled amongst the players involved.

Entry: $10 per player, must be paid before first match is played.

Format: 2-player teams will compete in a match play event. 90% of each player’s blue tee handicap will be used. Shots are distributed on the scorecard using the lowest handicapped player in the match as a 0. The deadline to sign up for the event is Wednesday, June 3rd. Matches must be completed within the allotted time frame.

Eligibility: Open to Members and Employees with a current GHIN handicap.

Event: 9-Hole Mixer

Date: Friday, June 19th

Time: 4PM Shotgun

Entry: $10 per couple : Additional entry may be required for Food & Beverage following golf.

Format: Each couple competes as a team. The format will be a better ball of two. Competitors will play their own ball on each hole. The lowest Gross & Net on each hole will be the team’s score. 90 % of each player’s handicap will be used for the event. Gross & Net prizes will be awarded. Men will play from the white tees & Ladies will play from the red tees.

Eligibility: Open to Members, Play Pass Holders, League Members, Employees, and Guests. Participants must have a verified handicap from either a GHIN card or a league handicap.

Event: Ladies’, Senior, Junior Club Championship

Date: Saturday, July 11th

Time: Tee times will begin at 12:30 PM

Entry: $10 per player

Format: 18-Hole stroke play competition to determine the Club Champion. The champion from each division will be awarded to the player with the lowest gross score. Gross
& Net prizes will be awarded. A sudden death playoff will break any ties. Ladies’ will compete from the red tees. Senior’s will compete from the white tees. Junior’s will compete from the white tees. A junior golfer is classified as 18 or younger and has not yet attended college.

Event: 2-Player Player’s Lounge MUG

Date: Friday, July 17th

Time: Tee Times will begin at 4 PM

Entry: $5 per player

Eligibility: Open to Members, Play Pass Holders, League Members, Employees, and Guests. Participants must have a verified handicap from either a GHIN card or a league handicap.

Format: 9-Hole Better Ball of Partners. Pick your own partner or sign up as a single and the golf shop staff will try to pair up singles. 90% handicap will be used for the event. Men will play from the blue tee markers. Ladies will play from the red tee markers. Senior’s may play from the white tee markers. Junior’s may play from the white markers.

Eligibility: Open to Members, Play Pass Holders, League Members, Employees, and Guests. Participants must have a verified handicap from either a GHIN card or a league handicap.

Event: Men’s Club Championship

Date: Matches may begin on Saturday, July 18th

Time: Must be scheduled amongst the players involved

Entry: $10 per player

Eligibility: Open to Members, Play Pass Holders, League Members, Employees, and Guests. Participants must have a verified handicap from either a GHIN card or a league handicap.

Format: Participants will compete in an 18-hole match play competition. Players will be placed in flights based on course handicap prior to the event. The deadline to sign up for the event is Wednesday, July 15th. The tees that each flight will play from will be determined once the participants have been broken down into flights. Participants will be allocated 100% of their handicap for the event. Shots are distributed on the scorecard using the lowest handicapped player in the match as a 0.

Example: Marston 20 vs. Pollard 23 Marston will play at 0, Pollard will get 3 shots on the first three handicap holes.

Matches must be completed within the allotted time frame or players may face disqualification.

Event: 2-player Shootout

Date: Friday, July 24th

Time: Tee Times will begin at 4 PM

Entry: $5 per player

Format: 2-player, 9-Hole Shamble

Eligibility: Open to Members, Play Pass Holders, League Members, Employees, and Guests. Participants must have a verified handicap from either a GHIN card or a league handicap.

Both players tee off, select the best positioned ball and each player plays their own ball from that point. Record both scores on the score card. The lowest gross and lowest net score will be the teams score. Each player will receive 75% of their 9-hole handicap. The tees that will be played will be determined prior to the start of the event.

Eligibility: Open to Members, Play Pass Holders, League Members, Employees, and Guests. Participants must have a verified handicap from either a GHIN card or a league handicap.

Event: 3-Club Championship

Date: Friday, August 14th

Time: Tee Times will begin at 4 PM

Entry: $5 per player

Eligibility: Open to Members, Play Pass Holders, League Members, Employees, and Guests. Participants must have a verified handicap from either a GHIN card or a league handicap.

Format: Participants will play 9 holes with only 3 clubs. One club must be a putter. Players will receive their full handicap and all male golfers will play from the white tees. The ladies will play from the red tees. Gross and Net prizes will be awarded to the top performers.
Eligibility: Open to Members, Play Pass Holders, League Members, Employees, and Guests. Participants must have a verified handicap from either a GHIN card or a league handicap.

Event: 2-player Stableford

Date: Friday, August 21st

Time: Tee Times will begin at 4 PM

Entry: $5 per player

Eligibility: Open to Members, Play Pass Holders, League Members, Employees, and Guests. Participants must have a verified handicap from either a GHIN card or a league handicap.

Format: 2-player teams will play a 9-hole event and collect points for their team based on their performance each hole. 2-player teams will play their own ball on each hole and the higher point total between the two team members will be the team score for each hole. The event will be played from the blue tees. Senior’s age 60 and over may play from the white tees. Ladies’ may play from the red tees. The team with the highest 9-hole point total will be declared the winners. Gross & Net prizes will be awarded to the highest scoring teams.

Points are awarded as follows:
Double Bogey or Higher = -2 pts. Bogey = -1pt.
Par = 1pt. Birdie = 3pts. Eagle = 4 pts.
Double Eagle = 6 pts.

Eligibility: Open to Members, Play Pass Holders, League Members, Employees, and Guests. Participants must have a verified handicap from either a GHIN card or a league handicap.

Event: Member – Guest

Date: Sunday, August 23rd

Time: 8:30 Shotgun Start

Entry: $150 per Member / Guest : Entry includes golf, steak/lobster following golf, prizes, and tee gifts.

Each Additional Guest: $90

Eligibility: Open to Members, Play Pass Holders, League Members, Employees, and Guests. Participants must have a verified handicap from either a GHIN card or a league handicap.

Format: Members will play a better ball of partners with their guest. If the member chooses to bring more than one guest, the member will be on a team with each guest. The event will be flighted by the team’s combined handicap. Handicaps will be allocated at 90% for each player. The event will be played from the blue tees. Senior’s age 60 and over may play from the white tees. Ladies’ may play from the red tees.
Player’s will meet in the banquet room following golf for the steak/lobster dinner and awards.

Eligibility: Open to all Members who have an established GHIN handicap. Guests may also include play pass holders, employees, and league members who are not members. All guests must provide proof of an established handicap.

Event: Fall Fowl

Date: Sunday, October 18th

Time: 10 AM Shotgun

Entry: $10 per player : Additional entry may be required for Food & Beverage following golf.
Non Member : Green Fee & Cart = $35

Format: 4-player Scramble – 18 Holes

Eligibility: Open to Members, Play Pass Holders, League Members, Employees, and Guests. Participants must have a verified handicap from either a GHIN card or a league handicap.

All four players tee off, select the best positioned ball and everyone plays from that position. Each player is required to use two tee shots during the course of the round. Participants may sign up as a team or as a single by contacting the golf shop and we will do our best to pair you up with a team. Team handicaps will be determined by the Pezzullo Method. Low Gross and Net prizes will be awarded.

Pezzullo Method:
½ of the Low Handicap Golfer = 50% of Team HDCP.
Add 3 remaining handicaps together and divide this number by 18 = 50% of Team Handicap.
50% HDCP + 50% HDCP = Team HDCP

Format: 4-player Scramble – 9 Holes

Eligibility: Open to Members, Play Pass Holders, League Members, Employees, and Guests. Participants must have a verified handicap from either a GHIN card or a league handicap.

Pezzullo Method:
½ of the Low Handicap Golfer = 50% of Team HDCP.
Add 3 remaining handicaps together and divide this number by 18 = 50% of Team Handicap.
50% HDCP + 50% HDCP = Team HDCP
